Some of the basic guidelines as you get started
Your narrative can be of one of the following types:
Your narrative and accompanying documents must include at least 4 of the following for full credit:
Students including all 6 will receive an Achievement for each additional item.
Your narrative can be of one of the following types:
- Short Story (7500 words or less) with a cover image
- Novella (7500-40,000 words) with a cover image
- Play (~ 7-13 pages) with a cover image and a set design illustration
- Short Film (5-10 minutes)
- Graphic Novel/Comic Book (15 page minimum)
- Talk to me for other formats
Your narrative and accompanying documents must include at least 4 of the following for full credit:
- The Schroedinger model of the atom (nucleus, electron cloud, protons, neutrons, electrons, quantized energy levels, orbitals)
- Relative size and/or reactivity of elements based on location on the periodic table
- Description of the nature of ionic, covalent, and metallic bonding (electrons transferred and dissociate in water from large crystal lattices, electrons shared equally and forms discrete molecules, lattice of atoms with free-flowing electrons)
- Intermolecular forces of attraction (hydrogen bonding, interactions between dipoles, Van der Waals forces)
- Nuclear Chemistry (isotopes, nature of unstable nuclei, types of radiation)
- Organic chemistry (molecular naming, behavior based on functional groups)
Students including all 6 will receive an Achievement for each additional item.
